Wisdom for Tomorrow
We have been fortunate to assemble a group of experienced senior university administrators (University Presidents, Technology Committee Chairs, Vice Chancellors) to serve on the Arandú Group of Advisors.
The purpose of this Board is to keep IMS “anchored” to higher education’s IT reality and to help us understand the IT dilemmas and challenges that educational institutions are currently encountering. IMS provides each board member with free access to our IT Research Papers and a yearly strategic review of industry best practices and threats.
The name “Arandú” is a Guaraní word spoken by the Guaraní people, a culture native to the region in South America that today includes the country of Paraguay, and sections of Northern Argentina and Uruguay, Southern Bolivia and Brazil. “Arandú” means Wisdom, and is also used in sentences to mean “Human Character” and “Experience.”
